On Tuesday, February 22nd, CIIMAR (Porto de Leixões Cruise Terminal, Matosinhos) hosted the BLUEBIOLAB Final Event, organized by CIIMAR Blue Biotechnology and Ecotoxicology group and UMinho 3B’s group, in a hybrid format.

The event was attended by 20 people in the face-to-face format and 40 people in the virtual format, including representatives of public administrations and organizations whose activity is closely related to marine biotechnology.

The morning, public session, was opened by CIIMAR, director of the coordinating entity of the UDV-Campus do Mar project, IP of the project, and also a member of the Comissão de Coordenação e Desenvolvimento Regional do Norte (CCDR-N); followed by presentations of the work developed in activities 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 of the project, a presentation of the BlueBio Alliance element entitled “BlueBio Alliance Network for Blue Biotechnology: Setting the Scene” and closed by the project PI and the UMinho PI.

In the afternoon, a private session consisted of a Pitch session on mobilities, presentations by the seven partner institutions, a poster session on mobilities and ended with a sum-up session and a round table in which the future of the project.
